Adolf Hitler was born on April-20/1889 in the village of Braunau am inn Austria Hungary
His father Alois Hitler was a strict customs official while his mother klara polzl was a kind and caring woman to whom he was deeply attached in his childhood, Hitler showed an interest in art but his father wanted him to become government employees in 1907 his mother died of cancer and he moved to Vienna to join the Academy of fine Arts but he was rejected twice while living in Vienna 1909 and 1913 Hitler experienced poverty making a living by selling watercolor paintings. During his Period he absorbed racist ideas and anti Semitic beliefs in 1913 he moved to Munich Germany when world war began in 1914, he enlisted in the German army as a Front line messenger he earned the icon cross first close but was wounded in a poison gas attack in 1918. He blamed Germany’s defeat on Jews and communists.
In 1919, Hitler joined the German works party which later became the National Socialist German works party NSDAP or Nazi party. His powerful speeches attracted wide support.
In 1923 the Beer Hall putsch coup attempt failed and he was imprisoned. While in prison he wrote Mein Kampf outlining his ideology racism territorial expansion and the extermination of Jews.
After his release Hitler turned the Nazi party into a powerful political force exploiting the economic crisis of 1929. On January 30/1933 he became Chancellor of Germany quickly abolishing the democratic system. In 1934 after president Hindenburg’s death he declared himself Fuhrer.
He rebuilt the military violated post war treaties and began territorial and military expansion.
On September 1/1939 Hitler invaded Poland triggering world war he achieved rapid victories in western Europe but his 1941 invasion of the Soviet Union and the entry of the United States into the war turned the tide against him. During the war he carried out the holocaust a systematic genocide that killed six million Jews and millions of others.
In April 1945 Soviet forces entered Berlin. Hitler retreated to the Fuhrerbunker where on April 30 he committed suicide alongside his companion Eva Braun on May 8/1945 Germany surrendered.
